Step by step to make a dog furniture
Step 1
To make a wooden dog bed, the first thing to do is buy a wooden board and cut it into three pieces of the same size.
To do this, we cut them with a jigsaw.
Step 2
We want the top of the side table to be thick. To achieve this, we will glue two of the pieces together.
We apply carpenter’s glue on one of the faces and glue them together. We squeeze with some jaws to exert pressure and let it dry.
The lower part of the table will be for our pet. We need to place a board with two lateral crosspieces as reinforcement.
Step 3
We mark and cut two strips of the same length as the width of the board with a jigsaw and a blade for wood.
Step 4
Glue the slats to the ends of the board and reinforce the joint with a few screws.
Step 5
Turn the board over and mark the holes in the corners where we are going to place the legs. They should be a bit off the angle to avoid splitting the wood.
The holes have to be the diameter of the legs that we are going to place.
Step 6
We change the screwing system for the drill system and with a spade bit of the diameter of the circle we make the holes. In the lower part we must place a martyr to prevent the wood from splintering.
Step 7
We sand all the pieces with a medium grit sandpaper in the direction of the grain.
Step 8
We introduce the legs through the holes in the board that we will place in the lower part and we place some stops so that it is mounted.
Step 9
Next, we introduce the countertop of the medita through the legs and we place the stops on it. We already have our pet furniture!

Other ideas to make a dog furniture
A teepee for your pet
The teepee is a very original and decorative bed that will not go unnoticed. It has a triangular shape that imitates the classic little house of the Indians. You will love it!
We will only need some fabric, four round wooden sticks of the same size and some rope to build this fun dog furniture.
To make this teepee, we will have to make a through hole about 20 cm from the end of four round sticks that we are going to use. Later, we will have to pass a thin rope inside and join all the sticks creating the teepee. To finish, we will only have to place a cloth on top and tie the upper part.

Starting from a chair we will build a custom bed for our pet. A very simple and original work!
We will disassemble the chair and use the back and legs to make the bed. We will have to build a drawer to place our pet’s mattress in with some poplar plywood boards.
